Adventurous ice climbers Stephanie and Brent chose to be married at the Audubon Habitat Education Center And Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont, MA for their shared love of nature. When the October day came, the air was crisp and a gentle breeze rustled the trees on the 90-acre property, smelling of leaves on the brink of new color.

A mutual love of winter sports and hiking made the top of Wildcat Mountain an easy choice for Amanda and Drew’s wedding ceremony. The wildly unpredictable weather of New England, combined with a 4000 foot summit, however, was potentially another matter. I suspect that it was with this in mind that Amanda smiled and remarked “We don’t really know what will happen but we’ll go with it” in the weeks leading up to the big day.

The sky was gray that September morning, but Alix’s blue eyes sparkled with excitement as she quickly offered a mimosa and introduced me to her besties. Sean and his friends joked around downstairs, quoting The Sopranos.

Set on a quiet, private beach behind the family home in Marshfield, MA, the tone of the day was decidedly mellow and lighthearted.

Bryan and I met Clara, the incredibly talented violinist when she played our friends wedding a few years ago. She did such a wonderful job that we jumped at the chance to book her for our wedding, too! A few months later we spent a sunny afternoon strolling around Halibut Point Park, eventually making our way to the beach. Clara’s mom, Luz even got in on the action! We had so much fun hanging out with this sweet mother-daughter team.
